WHEY PROTEIN CONCENTRATE: PURE Whey Protein range uses only a premium quality New Zealand whey protein concentrate (82% protein), made with the milk from grass-fed cows.
Whey protein contains one of the richest sources of branch chain amino acids, which has the benefit of assisting muscle recovery and health.
ORGANIC VANILLA BEAN POWDER: Organic raw vanilla bean powder is made from 100% pure ground vanilla beans sourced from South Pacific islands, which contain no preservatives or fillers. With the equivalent of eight vanilla bean pods in every pouch you can be assured of a delicious taste and aroma, which is complemented with a hint of cinnamon.

Nutrition & Usage:
DIRECTIONS: Mix 3 scoops (included) of powder with 200ml of skim milk or water. Shake well. Try blending PURE Whey Protein with yogurt, fruit & berries to make a delicious smoothie.
SUGGESTED USE: Take 1 - 3 servings per day depending on your diet and activity level. Use 60 – 90 minutes prior to exercise and within 30 minutes after exercise. Also great for a morning or afternoon snack, or when additional protein is needed in your diet.

New Zealand Blackcurrants contain higher amounts of anthocyanins compared to other blackcurrants due to our growing conditions. Anthocyanins are extracted from the skin of the blackcurrant and are dried into a concentrated extract. SOME OF THE LATEST BLACKCURRANT SCIENCE FROM NEW ZEALAND
A New Zealand study looked at the effectiveness of blackcurrant to augment the ability of regular exercise to enhance the immune responsiveness of the body.
Subjects consumed New Zealand blackcurrant capsules, pre, and post-exercise equivalent to about 1/3 cup berries (240mg anthocyanin), for three weeks. The results showed:
- Significantly lower levels of biomarkers of oxidative stress in plasma.
- Significantly increased ability of plasma to suppress inflammatory responses.
The researchers concluded that blackcurrant extracts taken at the appropriate time and amount can augment the ability of regular exercise to enhance the immune responsiveness of the body.
This research found that blackcurrants boost the natural benefits of exercise, by reducing muscle damage and soreness and assisting immune protection. These benefits are backed by scientific data showing speedier tissue repair, recovery and performance in exercise. Therefore, this study suggests that at the appropriate time and amounts, New Zealand blackcurrants enable those involved in physical fitness to train harder, for longer periods
